RUMBLE AUTOMATION GUIDE

Save Rumble video transcripts to Google Sheets with n8n.

Give the workflow a Rumble video URL. It retrieves available captions through FetchGoblin, checks for an empty result, and prepares a spreadsheet row with source URL, language, transcript, and retrieval date.

Transcript requests verified October 13, 2026. Connect your own n8n and Google Sheets credentials before running the template.

Import the small workflow.

Download the n8n workflow

  1. Import the JSON file into n8n.
  2. In Video and sheet settings, set your full Rumble video URL, spreadsheet ID, and sheet name.
  3. Create an HTTP Header Auth credential with name x-api-keyand your private FetchGoblin key. Select it in Fetch Rumble transcript.
  4. Connect your Google Sheets credential to Append transcript row.
  5. Create these column headers: source_url, language, transcript, retrieved_at, credits_charged, and request_id.
  6. Run the manual trigger. Captioned results proceed to Sheets; unavailable transcripts stop before the append step.

Keep keys in n8n credentials. The downloadable workflow contains no key, Google authorization, private spreadsheet, or automatic schedule.

The same request works in your code.

curl --get 'https://fetchgoblin.com/api/data/v1/rumble/video/transcript' \
  --header "x-api-key: $FETCHGOBLIN_API_KEY" \
  --data-urlencode "url=$RUMBLE_VIDEO_URL"

The response includes url, language, and transcript as WebVTT-style text, together with credit accounting and a request ID. Use the timestamps when you need to align the text to a video.

Keep the result and cost predictable.

A live captioned Rumble video returned a transcript for one credit in the October 13 check. The reference cat-video URL returned a null transcript for zero credits. Check the actual charge and caption availability for your input; the template does not create captions when the source has none.

Google Sheets has a limit of 50,000 characters per cell. The workflow preserves up to 49,000 transcript characters and marks longer transcripts as truncated. Use your own file storage if you need to retain a longer transcript in full.

One supplied URL runs at a time. The manual template appends a new row on each run and does not deduplicate repeated URLs or discover new channel videos. Add those behaviors only when your workflow needs them.

HTTP errors stop the workflow. For a retry after a connection interruption, reuse the same FetchGoblin idempotency key; do not enable automatic retries without considering credit charges. See errors and retry accounting.

A verified account starts with 50 trial credits. Prepaid top-ups start at $5. n8n hosting and other services have their own costs.
